Basement Excavation

Geotech was sub-contracted to construct the basement retention for the Market Square Condo Apartments.

The work included:

Manufacture, supply and installation of 78no. precast soldier piles (450mm*450mm*average length 7m).
Design, supply and install 147no. 400kN temporary ground anchors.
Construction of 1070m2 Shotcrete wall (200mm thick) including supply of all materials.
Bulk excavation and disposal off site (15,000 m3 solid)
Detailed excavation of base slabs and footings
