We have developed a number of specialised rigs for
the installation of soil nails, and other passive
anchors, including excavator mounted and crane suspended
drills to enable safe installation of soil nails at
height. We complement this activity through the
application of shotcreting to the slopes/batters and the
supply and installation of Rock Fall Fences from 150 to
2000kj.

Shotcrete
Geotechnical Engineering operates several modern
shotcrete plants through its shotcrete division, Dugina
Shotcrete and has particular expertise in the
construction of heavily reinforced concrete structures
and the production of architectural finishes.
Over the years, our shotcrete division has earned a
reputation in the industry for successfully employing
shotcrete techniques in projects which would have
otherwise relied on traditional, less efficient methods
of concrete construction. These techniques, many of
which we pioneered, have allowed for significant time
and cost savings on major works. A highly skilled
workforce and years of concrete construction expertise
combines to produce the results on which the shotcrete
division’s reputation is based.
Major Shotcrete works include:
- Warragamba Dam
- Dartmouth Dam Spillway
