Eureka Tower Climb

Eureka Tower Climb

Well…we did it!

On Sunday, 13 November 2011 the ‘GeoClimb’ teams set off to climb the gruelling 88 floors to the top of Eureka Tower. Everyone reached the top in under 30 minutes – a great achievement! It certainly was a lot harder than first thought: not only did we have to walk up stairs but the higher we got the hotter it became in the stairwell. Nonetheless everyone reached the top, and for those of you who haven’t been to the top of Eureka Tower it certainly is a spectacular view of Melbourne. The journey down was certainly a lot easier than the journey up, thank God for lifts! The team then rounded off the morning with a well earned coffee/brunch at the World Bar to celebrate our achievement.

Surprisingly, there were no sore legs on Monday either.

You can find individual finish photos at http://www.supersportimages.com/ (by typing the surname or bib number), whilst below is the before photo of the whole team.

A huge well done to everyone who participated and thanks to all of you who sponsored us. The event raised a whopping $230,000 to the cause. We look forward to competing in the next challenge.
