under our Integrated Management System (IMS). Quality
Assurance is third party accredited to ISO 9001.
All our workplaces and activities are operated under
an Environmental Management System compliant with
legislation, EPA codes of practice and accepted
industry standards.
Geotechnical Engineering is committed to providing
environmentally responsible services to our clients
for the benefit of our clients, employees, associates
and interested communities.
We produce a specific “Environmental Management Plan”
for all our major projects.
Geotechnical Engineering has third party certification
Occupational Health and Safety to AS 4801.
Geotechnical Engineering’s activities are governed by
the Company’s commitment to provide a safe workplace
without risk to it’s employees and associates. The
company’s “Environment, Health and Safety Manual” is
the controlling document to ensure continuing
compliance with not only the company’s goals but also
those of legislation and industry best practice.
Industrial Relations
Geotechnical Engineering has a certified Enterprise
Bargaining Agreement, through which all industrial
matters are managed.
Furthermore, because we have always valued the worth
and capability of our employees, our continuing
success as a contractor rests in close relationships
and understandings between our workforce and our
management team.
