Shotcreting

In the field of slope stabilisation, shotcreting is undertaken to provide:

  • Temporary or permanent rock face protection
  • Buttressing of unstable blocks and formations
  • Erosion control
  • Formation of crest and toe drains

Due to the difficulties in accessing the face of the slope, the shotcreting process is typically undertaken from boom-lifts/EWPs.
